The relationship between probiotics and cancer cells should start from pathology of cancer. The quantity of our body calls are limited. When one cell dies, another one will replace it at all. This is how the whole body works. In cancer cases, it is not a bad thing that cell begin to multiply uncontrollably. But if the mutated substance turns Tinto C ,the code reads GACCCCAAG. Such a small change may even determine the life and death of the cell.
So how does the mutation happen？We can know that everything is the masterpiece of cells by confirming everything,just like the example we give above -DNA tells us by arranging letters. Some compounds can even enter these letters and damage them . These compounds are collectively called organic mutation or carcinogens.When DNA works, the cells are happy and normal .It will split several times ,and die within a predetermined time . So, what role can probiotic play in it? In fact , they act in a variety of ways. First , they create substances which interact with defensive substances and decode them. Second , probiotics can absorb toxic substances and process them through a variety of ways to weaken their toxicity. Third , probiotic help our body stay away from bacteria .This ,of course ,is beneficial ,not only because harmful bacteria,such as the notorious colibacillus,(which causes spoilage of meat ,can produce substances that make the body sick or even life-threatening) but also because some harmful bacteria adsorb harmless substances and turn them into carcinogens.Through the above effects, probiotic can prevent and crack the attack of toxic substanceson DNA ,so as to eliminate gene mutation and achieve the effect of cancer prevention and treatment.
Probiotics achieve the purpose of protecting the body by transferring bacteria.The internal space of human beings is very limited. In fact, in order that beneficial or harmful bacteriacan play a role in the health of the human body ,it has to takes some time to procrastinate every ostensibly. That is to say , bacteria must attach themselves to the inner layer of the gastrointestinal tract ,this process is called bacterial adhesion, some of which occupy certain areas of the gastrointestinal tract. The metabolite or extractive of probiotics has a remarkable effect : science and technology reduce the opportunity of chemical mutation; it degrade fecal enzymes, nitrosamines which can cause carcinogens; and it can also prevent some bacteria destroying DNA.

There exist three main views in the scientific field about principle of probiotic cancer prevention: one is that probiotics stimulate the immune system to attack cancer cells; the other is that probiotics can prevent carcinogenic chemicals from acting; and another holds that probiotics can cause cancer cells to apoptosis themselves.
Many studies have shown that probiotics have direct antitumor effects. Let’s look at some cases.
*In an animal experiment about the antitumor properties of probiotics, the antitumor effect of a particular yoghilomycetes was tested.In this experiment, one group of mice ingested a certain amount of foraminifera every day, while the other group did not ingest any probiotics . All of these mice were subcutaneously injected with nitrosamine, a tumor-inducing substance. The results showed that by the 26th ,the mice fed with probiotics significantly reduced the incidence of tumors, and by the 40th week, the mice in the group fed with probiotics had a much lower incidence of tumors than those in the contrast group . This is because the probiotics stimulate the production of certain immune components that can kill and inhibit tumor growth, such as IL-LA and tumor necrosis factor a. In another study of prbiotics and tumors, the researchers found that the probiotics stimulated the growth of Bifidobacillus in the intestines of mice fed inulin and fructose oligosaccharide.
*Ian Roland, a professor of human nutrition at the university of Northern Ireland, has confirmed by clinical trials that a beverage containing probiotics can reduce the likelihood of damage to the gut-cell gene and help prevent colon cancer. The results were published in 《Clinical Nutrition of United States》 journal in 2007.
*Dr .Roland conducted the experiment in 80 volunteers and divided them into two groups, one group have been treated with colon cancer and the other group were diagnosed with intestinal polyps as a precursor to cancer. Roland asked each patient to drink a drink containing probiotics and inulin. Inulin cannot be digested in the upper intestinal tract, so it can reach the large intestine and become the energy source of colorectal probiotics. Roland kept the volunteers drinking probiotic drinks for 12 weeks and compared the changes of cell carcinogenesis before and after drinking through two lived tissue sections. The results showed that the carcinogenesis of the first group of volunteers treated with colon cancer had no change before and after drinking probiotic drinks, but those who had intestinal polyps had less carcinogenesis and less proliferation after drinking inulin and probiotic drinks.
*According to a research project led by Professor Da Qiao JingXiong ,department of Medicine, University of Tokyo, Japan, the risk of bladder cancer was reduced by 50% in people who are used to drinking lactic acid bacteria.The professor compared the 180bladder cancer pacients in 7 reginal hospitaals in Japan with 445 healthy people,and conducted 81 questionnaires on the drinking of lactic beverages in the previous 10-15 years. After a series of statistical treatment (deviation caused by sex, age, smoking, etc.), the results were as follows: the risk index of bladder cancer was 1.0 in people who did not drink lactic acid bacteria drinks, and only 0.4 in those who drank 1 to 2 times a week.
